And (Our) Interviews Are Hotter…Holla.

(For our new visitors, that’s Grizz on the left, Theory in the middle, Dimes on the right)

Just posted my freestyle session with some of the DMV’s finest below (The Package had to leave the studio before they got a chance to spit on that fine Election Day).

The show from which that freestyle session is derived is called “Funkadelic Freestyles” (Tuesdays, 10-12, gwradio.com) and the show’s ever gracious host Jamie B was kind enough to invite The Package back two weeks after that Election Day episode for a full 30 minute interview session and they got a chance to spit some fire! Turn your speakers up at the end where Dimes and Grizz kill it with both a version of ‘Look Out Below’ over a new beat as well as a bit of off-the-top sickness.

side note: Whoever recorded “Crank Dat Batman”, please know that Theory is not hating. I wouldn’t want anyone to get upset and crank any superheroes in our general direction.

The Suit Spits…

Spirit Equality & R.E.U.B. Freestyle On WRGW-FM

Although I eventually plan on releasing product through PKG, I’m primarily known as the business guy in PKG (or as me and Theory like to jokingly say, in tribute to “Entourage”, I am The Suit).

Not my best freestyle by far, but the suit still spits every now and again. Ha. That particular freestyle was recorded Election Night and we were still nervously joking about what would happen should McCain somehow steal the election (since pretty much everyone there thought Obama was going to win if there was no foul play with the votes, like in Florida in 2000). That ought to explain my bugged out content, for those who still pay attention to lyrics.

Speaking of lyrics…I just recorded a new joint, “No One Can Stop It (Marching Powder)” yesterday at DJ Tru’s studio, The Church…big up to Tru the super-engineer and Don Cannon on the track…enjoy….more music soon come…feedback welcomed…

Peace,

Spirit
