We have to give massive respect to the DJ’s, as always, but this time they deserve some special recognition because the DJ’s out there have been giving us so much love! Thanks to the support we’ve been getting, the “Making Waves” single is # 2 on two charts tracking national college radio play: Rap Attack (rapattacklives.com) and Rapnetwork Record Breakers (www.myspace.com/recordbreakercharts

Much love to the college and mix show DJ’s for helping us get this far!

But they’re not the only DJ’s showing The Package love…

DJ Vlad and the kind folks at vladtv.com have graciously decided to feature the video for “Making Waves” in his music video section. It has already racked up almost 10,000 views in its first two days of being posted, which is astonishing! Thanks, Vlad!

Big up to video director Bobby Yan for suggesting that PKG Entertainment submit our video to Vlad. Hit him at twitter.com/bobbyyan and tell him he’s a genius for this one and let him know the DMV loves him!

In other news, Real Hip-Hop Network should also have the edited version of the “Making Waves” video as I type this…

We’re suggesting Warning over Making Waves because Warning is a DMV unity song and we think it would make a great statement if it wins! It’s also an INCREDIBLE video! Show some DMV love and give it your vote!

“Warning” got major love at a recent local film festival where the video was screened. Everyone in the audience who showed a lot of appreciation for the video and the quality of the music. Of equal importance, they showed and proved their appreciation monetarily by buying every CD Grizz had on him.

Back to DMV EMAs for one moment, we have to mention that our comrades DJ Heat, RBI, Jamie B, and Mental Salvation radio also deserve your support in the radio and DJ categories, as does Kokayi for Best Male Rapper. Head-Roc is also worthy of consideration, but you only have one vote in each category so choose wisely! Apologies to anyone we forgot (in no particular order, Oddisee, X.O., Lyriciss, Benji, J Scrilla and any number of talented DMV folk).
